Set against the backdrop of the Bosnian War in the '90s, this provocative new film follows a Serbian man and a Bosnian woman who fall in love on the brink of the terrible armed conflict that tears their world apart. Although separated by the war along ethnic lines, they are fatefully reunited when she becomes a prisoner in a camp he oversees. Despite the most challenging circumstances imaginable, their relationship continues to evolve. But can their bond survive the horrific war, not to mention the dangerous cat-and-mouse games they themselves initiate?
