Ryan Gosling and Phillip Montgomery investigate the issues facing today's youth and the factors behind the Occupy Wall Street movement. The discussion of apathy found in today's generation leads to the exploration of technology, our disconnect with nature, how we consume, our loss of history, and the social and economic factors holding many of us back from becoming more active participants in our communities and society as a whole. This fast-paced documentary is interspersed with the knowledge, wisdom, and personal reflections of some of the country's leading scholars, social activists, and media personalities including Noam Chomsky, Amy Goodman, Andrew Bacevich, Talib Kweli, STS9, Kalle Lasn (founder of Adbusters, who originated the call to action for the Occupy Wall Street movement) and the late Howard Zinn. An original score by Sound Tribe Sector 9 (STS9).
