Ridley Scott’s latest project is GUCCI, a film that focuses on the scandalous murder within the Italian fashion dynasty. Angelina Jolie may star as Patrizia Reggiani, the woman who was jailed for 29 years for taking part in the killing of her ex-husband (read more). Hey, at least he was wearing $1200 crocodile skin boots when he died.
Although the host of this year’s Oscars is still TBD, we now know who the producers are: Bill Mechanic, the former chairman of 20th Century Fox, and Adam Shankman, the director of HAIRSPRAYand a judge on the program SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE (read more). So I guess reality TV really is here to stay.
The Czechs are really excited to announce that their “20 Percent Incentive” Plan has passed. Foreign film shoots will be refunded 20 percent of their expenses to encourage major productions on their soil (read more). In order to qualify for the partial refund, you need to score high enough on a “culture” point scale.
