Based on the true-to-life story of Fatima Buen, the film tells the story of a convicted woman felon who falls prey to the perverse corruption of the big city. The film gives us a glimpse of what is inside Fatima Buen as she tries to recover from the tumultuous path brought about by her sorry past. Portrayed by Kris Aquino, Fatima Buen's life is plagued by a never-ending cycle of love and revenge. She is courted by the lesbian Batman (Belen) and is given a difficult time by the jail warden. Her luck with men isn't all that cheerful either. Though Baron (Regala) falls madly in love with her, she is tormented by Kintanar (Legaspi), the corrupt policeman. Will she be able to escape her wretched fate? Or are her misery and desperation enough to justify one of the most controversial murders of her time?
