The glasnost era in Russia is depicted through the eyes of Chlykov (Piotr Zaitchenko), an antisemitic Russian cabbie, and Lyosha (Piotr Mamonov), a drunken Jewish saxophone player, who stiffs the cabbie driver for a huge fare.
