Media site IGN has posted the first five minutes of BOONDOCK SAINTS II: ALL SAINTS DAY. The sequel to the 1999 cult-classic hits theaters this Friday. Will the film score Box Office succes? Or will it merely be just another addition to the seemingly endless list of unnecessary sequels? (more)
Following the success of A SERIOUS MAN, the acclaimed Coen Brothers are working towards their next project: TRUE GRIT, a remake of the 1969 film that starred John Wayne. While Jeff Bridges is set to takeover Wayne's role, VARIETY reports that the Coen's have added Matt Damon and Josh Brolin to the cast list. (more)
In a public letter writer/director Paul Haggis (CRASH) renounced his membership to the Church of Scientology. Haggis was "disturbed" by the church's opposition to gay rights and support of California's Proposition 8. You can read Haggis' full letter at AirAmerica.com. (more)
