With INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS, PRECIOUS and UP IN THE AIR leading the way, the nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced earlier this week. The nominees for Best Cast in a Motion Picture, perhaps the ceremony's "Best Picture" equivalent, are AN EDUCATION, THE HURT LOCKER, INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS, NINE, and PRECIOUS.

Sandra Bullock received a nomination for her performance in THE BLIND SIDE, and will be competing for the award against Helen Mirren, Carey Mulligan, Gabourney Sidibe and Meryl Streep.
