Synopsis:
Vivian (Bell) is an uptight English professor in 1950s New York. She travels to Reno to get a divorce. While staying at a guest ranch there (to wait out the residency requirement), she meets a tomboy named Cay (Charbonneau), who falls in love with her at first sight. Cay firmly believes that Vivian needs the love of another woman, and sets out to convince her.
